Personal experience of expat life

Being an Expat in Spain and Singapore helped me understand the complex feelings associated with creating and maintaining a new life in a different country and the unforeseen challenges which can arise for both individuals and couples.

Talking it over

 

Having someone impartial to talk these over with can be an essential part of the transition between cultures, homes, workplaces, roles and family responsibilities. Often being away from what is familiar can cause past trauma and anxiety to resurface.

My approach

I am a highly experienced and trained British psychotherapist and ADHD Clinical Professional who uses a unique blend of Psychodynamic and Internal Family Systems to support clients. This allows me to help you understand both your conscious and unconscious world and also how different parts of you feel and think about the problems you face. I welcome men and women with both undiagnosed and diagnosed ADHD symptoms who are looking to make sense of their world and create new behaviours.

 

As a British Counsellor in Singapore I am a registered member of The British Association of Counsellors and work to a professional code of ethics with all clients in both the UK and Singapore. I am a certified ADHD Clinical professional.

You can choose from several locations where you would like your Expat counselling sessions to take place in Singapore. All are easy accessible and have relaxing and comfortable rooms.

I welcome all enquiries and provide a 20 min free introductory session for you to find out more about counselling with me and ask any questions you have that will help you decide how to go forward.

 

If we decide to work together each ongoing session will be 50 minutes with a cost according to local rates below.
